Chen Holds 71 Bilateral Talks Outside of WHA, Expressing Our Stance

On May 22, 2019, the US Senate unanimously passed the Senate Resolution No. 249 by a voice vote, asking the Secretary of State to study strategies for assisting Taiwan in participating in the World Health Assembly (WHA) again as an observer. As to this, the ROC’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) extended our deepest gratitude.
According to data released by MOFA, Chen Shih-chung (陳時中), Minister of Health and Welfare, has held 71 bilateral talks so far in Geneva, 11 more than last year’s.
