After DPP Primary, Tsai Makes Surge in Opinion Polls

In the DPP 2020 Presidential primary, President Tsai Ing-wen beat her challenger Lai Ching-te, securing her status of DPP standard-bearer for her re-election bid. After the DPP primary, Tsai makes a surge in opinion polls on 2020 Presidential race, leading others for the first time.
The TVBS Polling Center has released the results of its latest opinion poll on the 2020 Presidential race, showing that Tsai, whether in a three-way race among the Blue, Green and White camps or in a Blue-Green duel, takes a lead in support ratings. TVBS’s latest poll results are as follows:
