Tsai and Han Endeavor to Campaign across Taiwan and Overseas

The 2020 presidential election day has entered the 3-month countdown, and KMT and DPP candidates are going to campaign this week. Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), as the ruling-party’s candidate with administrative resources, has emphasized her performance in office. Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜) will start his campaign at Cape Eluanbi, and hold his first large pep rally in Tainan this coming Saturday.

Han has decided to tour the US around mid-November. Which high-ranking US government officials in the Trump administration Han will meet in Washington has become the focus of public attention.

Han's wife Lee Chia-fen (李佳芬) will tour the Philippines and Vietnam from October 23 to 27.

Regarding the DPP, DPP Chairman Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) on September 24 asked William Lai (賴清德) in person to tour the US in mid-October to canvass votes among overseas DPP supporters.
