Taipei City Hall Sends Ordinance Bill Regulating Food Delivery Platforms to City Council for Review

Vehicle accidents among food delivery workers have been reported one after another; worse still, those food delivery workers have neither labor nor health insurance. In order to protect these workers, the Taipei City government in an executive meeting passed the draft bill titled “Ordinance Regulating Food Delivery Platforms in Taipei City” on November 19. The draft bill would be sent to the Taipei City Council this week for review in the hope of being passed in the current session.
