When investigating the suicide of diplomat Su Chii-cherng (蘇啟誠), then director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Osaka during a close-down of the Kansai International Airport as a result of Typhoon Jebi’s onslaught in 2018, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office discovered that Slow Yang (楊蕙如) hired cyber warriors to exercise spin control through social media outlets to attack Su. Yesterday, KMT legislator Wang Yu-min (王育敏) indicated that when Yang exercised spin control on the Internet, the DPP secretary-general was Hung Yao-fu (洪耀福). Wang went on to state that as Hung currently was a key figure at Tsai Ing-wen’s (蔡英文) campaign headquarters, he had to stand out and explain to the public whether he was involved in this case.

Moreover, some neitizens found out that the cyber warriors had used the Internet Protocol (IP) of the Legislative Yuan (LY) to post articles on the Internet to attack TECO in Osaka. KMT legislators, including Hsu Yu-jen (許毓仁), yesterday asked all 113 legislators to sign a declaration on the use of the LY’s IP, hoping that by December 13, all legislators, including Speaker Su Jia-chyuan (蘇嘉全), would sign the declaration.
