Alex Tsai Accuses Joseph Wu of 3 Offences

After the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) rejected KMT legislators’ petition, yesterday Alex Tsai (蔡正元), KMT’s Deputy Secretary-General, pointed out the following three major offences committed by Foreign Minister Joseph Wu (吳釗燮):

First, he destroyed democratic institutions, ignoring legislative oversight.

Second, he “pushed diplomat Su Chii-cherng (蘇啟誠) to commit suicide”. He forced Su to write a self-degrading report of reflection, resulting in the suicide of Su, who could not bear the humiliation and wished to prove his innocence by terminating his own life. Frank Hsieh (謝長廷), Slow Yang (楊蕙如), and Wu could be seen as accomplices in Su’s death.

Third, he was suspected of creating a fake Mainland spy case, since Wu’s deputy showed up in the same program of a TV talk show in Australia interviewing Wang Liqiang (王立強), the self-proclaimed Mainland spy.
