On December 6, several KMT legislators protested at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). There was some pushing and shoving between legislator Chen Yi-ming (陳宜民) and a plainclothes policewoman from a national police detachment. After MOFA filed a complaint with the police, the National Police Agency under the Ministry of the Interior stated that it supported the move to defend the dignity of the police”, referring Chen Yi-ming to prosecutors for obstructing officers in the discharge of duties.

Shortly after, on December 11, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office (TDPO) subpoenaed the policewoman to the inquiry session as a witness, examining evidence on video footages. Later, the policewoman issued a statement, expressing her hope to bring peace back to her life as soon as possible.
