FAT Chairman Released on Bail of NT$8 Million

The Taipei District Court, in a detention hearing held yesterday for FAT Chairman Chang Kang-wei (張綱維), rejected the petition, ruling that there were no grounds for Chang’s detention, releasing him on a bail of NT$8 million (US$264,413). The Taipei District Prosecutors Office stated that it would file an immediate interlocutory appeal against the ruling.
