Taiwan Cannot Escape Hong Kong's Fate?

 Translation of an Excerpt

"Hong Kong today, Taiwan tomorrow". During the presidential campaign, the Green camp propaganda machine seized the immense momentum of Hong Kong's protests and demonstrations, packaging itself into an anti-China hero, accusing the KMT of being the CCP’s fellow travelers, and finally fulfilled its wishes for continued complete control of government. When Hong Kong’s demonstrations rose again, the Tsai government has kept a low-key response as much as possible. With regard to how Taiwan may avoid falling into a fate similar to that of Hong Kong, it has not made an objective and in-depth exploration, nor has it mapped out countermeasures toward the good and against the evil. The Tsai government, even because of being intoxicated in the pro-US, anti-China passions, has bound Taiwan to the fire chariot of the US against China, willingly becoming a pawn to be employed by the US against China.

Examining the reasons why Hong Kongers have fallen into the victimization pathos, we will find that Taiwan is gradually approaching the fate of Hong Kong, mainly because the DPP government has continuously planted seeds of evil, and thus reaps the fruit of evil, making the same mistakes as Hong Kong people. If we still don’t learn lessons from Hong Kong and change course, it may be difficult to escape a similar fate in the future.
