2020 Taipei-Shanghai City Forum to Be Held Tomorrow Via Video Conference

The Taipei-Shanghai City Forum, dubbed the “Twin-Cities Forum,” is scheduled to be held at the Regent Taipei Hotel on July 22. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Taipei City Mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) will meet via video conference with Gong Zheng (龔正), acting Shanghai City Mayor.
Because the world is facing the impact of the pandemic, the theme of the 2020 Forum is “city-to-city exchanges on pandemic prevention and economic cooperation” in order to discuss how economic development could coexist with the pandemic in the post-pandemic era.
