PLA Aircraft Intrude into Taiwan’s ADIZ Twice at Night

According to the United Daily News, PLA jet fighters were reported to have intruded into the southwest corner of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) at night on July 23, and in the wee hours of July 24, and the Mainland aircraft were dispelled out of Taiwan’s ADIZ by the ROC Air Force. A scholar indicated that obviously, the PLA aimed to demonstrate the upgraded combat capabilities of the PLA’s Air Force strength, and that how the ROC Armed Forces should adjust or make response plans would be a huge challenge faced by high echelons in national security.
The Air Force did not confirm the news on July 24.
