2. Which of the three following candidates would you vote for President, the KMT’s Ma Ying-jeou, the DPP’s Tsai Ing-wen or PFP’s James Soong?

KMT Ma Ying-jeou	37.2%
DPP Tsai Ing-wen	31.9%
PFP James Soong	16.7%
Undecided/Don’t know/No opinion	14.2%

3. Do you think that James Soong should run in the 2012 Presidential election?

Yes	31.8%
No	49.6%
No opinion	18.6%

The latest poll was conducted by the Index Survey between August 20 and 21, with 1,073 people surveyed.  The margin of error associated with this sample is plus or minus 3 % with a 95 % confidence interval.
