According to the latest poll conducted by the China Times, Ma Ying-jeou is leading Tsai Ing-wen by 3 percentage points. The same poll showed that currently 39.5 % of the respondents supported the Ma-Wu ticket, 36.5% supported the Tsai-Su ticket, and 5.8% supported the Soong-Lin ticket. 75% of the people questioned were willing to reveal for whom they planned to vote.
The latest poll was conducted in the evening of January 2 with 1,105 people surveyed. The margin of error associated with this sample is plus or minus 2.7% with a 95% confidence interval.
