Taiwan Wins Men's Tennis Doubles Gold Medal at Kazan Summer Universiade

In the category of men’s doubles at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Russia, the men’s tennis duo from Taiwan, Lee Hsin-han (李欣翰) and Peng Hsien-yin (彭賢尹), captured the 4th gold medal for Taiwan after beating their Russian rivals, Victor Baluda and Knostantin Kravchuk, in straight sets. This is the third year in a row that Lee has won the championship title at the Summer Universiades.
Lee Hsin-han, at 25 years of age, is the best men’s tennis doubles player in Taiwan. He began taking part in Summer Universiades in 2007 and has bagged a total of 4 gold and 3 bronze medals to date. He has earned the most medals and the highest amount of stipends among all members of Taiwan’s delegations to the Summer Universiades.
