69.3% of the respondents denounced the students for occupying the Cabinet House, destroying and stealing public property, and clashing with the police.
The survey also indicated that 62% of the respondents agreed that the government should hold a National Conference on Trade and Economics (經貿國是會議)and supported legislation of a “Statute Governing Oversight on Cross-Strait Agreements” (兩岸監督條例) during this Legislative session.
The public opinion poll was conducted from April 1 to 2 with 1,084 people surveyed. The margin of error associated with this sampling is plus or minus 2.98 % with a 95% confidence interval.
