Nomination List of Control Yuan Members Announced

Yesterday the Presidential Office announced its nomination list of Control Yuan (CY) members. Chang Po-ya (張博雅), Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, and Sun Ta-chuan (孫大川), a former chairman of the Council of Indigenous Peoples, were nominated as President and Vice President of the CY, respectively.
Seven incumbent members of the CY were re-nominated, i.e., Gau Fehng-shian (高鳳仙), Cheng Jen-hung (程仁宏), Yang Mei-ling (楊美鈴), Yu Teng-fang (余騰芳), Li Bing-nan (李炳南), Yin Jeo-chen (尹祚芊), and Shen Mei-chen (沈美真).
The rest of the new nominees are as follows:
1) Chen Ching-tsai (陳慶財), incumbent deputy secretary-general of the Executive Yuan.
2) Chen Hsiao-hung (陳小紅), incumbent advisory member of the National Security Council.
3) Hsue Chun-ming (薛春明), incumbent deputy secretary-general of Taipei City Hall.
4) Liu Te-shun (劉德勳), former chairman of the Mainland Affairs Council.
5) Fan Liang-shiow (范良銹), former chairman of the Public Construction Commission (PCC).
6) Kang Jaw-jou (康照洲), former director-general of the Food and Drug Administration under the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
7) Hsu Wen-pin ( 許文彬 ), incumbent national policy advisor to the President.
8) Chiang Yi-wen (江綺雯), a former legislator.
9) Chang Jen-hsiang (章仁香), incumbent deputy county executive of Hsinchu County.
10) Lin Ya-feng (林雅鋒), an incumbent member of the Examination Yuan.
11) Chiang Ming-tsang ( 江明蒼 ), a prosecutor of the Prosecutor-General’s Office.
12) Fang Wan-fu (方萬富), a prosecutor of the Prosecutor-General’s Office.
13) Bau Tzong-ho (包宗和), a professor at National Taiwan University.
14) Li Yue-de (李月德), a former professor at Chaoyang University of Technology.
15) Shih Hung-chih (施鴻志), a professor at the Kang Ning University.
16) Tsai Pei-tsun (蔡培村), incumbent President of National Kaohsiung Normal University.
17) Wang Huei-po (王惠珀), a professor at Taipei Medical University.
18) Hsu Kuo-wen (許國文), chairman of the Lo-Hsu Foundation.
19) Chang Kui-mei (仉桂美), an associate professor at Kainan University.
20) Wang Mei-yu (王美玉), publisher of the China Times.
Vice President Wu Den-yih (吳敦義) stated that after the official communication concerning the nomination were sent to the Legislative Yuan on May 13, Timothy Yang (楊進添), Secretary-General of the Presidential Office, would lead all nominees of the CY to visit every party caucus in the Legislative Yuan.
