This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.  According to press reports, President Ma Ying-jeou had already ordered the Defense Ministry to issue Medals of Honor or Citations of Honor to veterans who fought against Japanese invaders during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.    David Lo (羅紹和), spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, said that the Ministry would make an announcement as to when the veterans would be awarded the medals or citations as soon as possible.
