Many Become Confirmed Cases After Being Isolated, Exposing Delay in Deployment of Pandemic Control

Translation of an Excerpt
According to the pandemic situation briefing of the Epidemic Command Center, a new situation has recently emerged, worrying the public. In the last three short days, six people have been found to be confirmed cases several days after a 14-day home quarantine by tracking down the sources of their infections. These circumstances, on the one hand, explain that the virus’ dormant state is far longer than the 14 days as forecast by experts, and on the other, expose a phenomenon of delay in the "advanced deployment" policy prided by the government, which has been found to be unable to catch up with the changes of the pandemic situation.
Several days after ending the home quarantine, some are tested positive; we can’t deny that it is a major loophole in the deployment of our pandemic prevention and control. Precisely because of frequent occurrences of new cases "being confirmed only after ending isolation", the Epidemic Command Center has recently added a new requirement, i.e., those who have ended a 14-day home quarantine must add seven more days of "self-management of health care".
To deal with this unprecedented global pandemic in recent memory, what all countries need is a vigilant mentality of self-examination and self-introspection as time goes by, so as to intercept those foxy viruses. The Epidemic Command Center has recently missed the warnings of domestic experts several times; we urge the Command Center to listen to these recommendations with an open mind!
