1.Crack down on violent crimes against women, amend related laws to lengthen mandatory prison terms by 50% and prior to such statutory amendments, strongly recommend stiffer sentences.
2.Safeguard the rights of elderly and debilitated women, promote the “Domestic Incidents Act”
3.Set aside one third of politically assigned positions for females, establish a special government agency to handle sexual equality cases.
4.Relax restrictions on the working qualifications of foreign and Mainland spouses and prohibit discriminatory treatment.
5.Create100,000 additional job opportunities for women in four years.
6.Provide NT$ 1 billion in funding to women who want to start their own businesses.
7.Consolidate the “Gender Equality Employment Act” and provide two years of child-rearing leave per couple per birth.
8.Promote physical and mental health of all women, and establish an appropriate budget to manage birth risks.
9.Provide training to women in career development and ensure an equal distribution of education resources.
10.Improve the sporting and leisure environments for women
11.Develop community services and the home-care industry, and enact a “Household Service Act”
12.Cultivate non-profit women’s organizations and explore international vistas for women
