Interior Minister Jiang Yi-hua announced this afternoon that the ROC government would not grant an entry permit to exiled Uighur activist Rebiya Kadeer based on considerations of national and public interests. KMT spokesman Lee Chien-jung said, “the KMT fully supports the government’s decision.”
