Today, marking the 61^st Anniversary of August 23^rd Artillery Duel, Terry Gou (郭台銘), the founder of Foxconn, Ko Wen-je (柯文哲), Taipei City Mayor, and Wang Jin-pyng (王金平), a former legislative speaker, appeared at a commemorative musical event held by Taipei City Hall at the same time, being interpreted as a success of “Gou-Ko-Wang” coalition.

However, informed sources pointed out that during the event, the trio neither announced a coalition nor touched on electoral issues.
