China Times Poll: Gap Between Tsai and Han Narrows

Regarding the 2020 presidential race, after Terry Gou (郭台銘), the founder of Foxconn, withdrew from the race, Want Want China Times Media Group’s (旺旺中時媒體集團) latest poll shows that the approval rating of Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜), the KMT candidate, is 25.7%, while President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), the DPP candidate, 32.6%. Between Tsai and Han, the gap in approval ratings narrows to 6.9 percentage points. The latest poll results are as follows: 

 

 

 Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文)

32.6%

Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜)

25.7%

Other candidates

5.6%

Not to vote/supports no one

12.8%

Declined to state preference or declined to answer

23.0%
