Han to Officially Announce His “666” Campaign Planks on Pre-school Care

KMT presidential candidate Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜) and his National Policy Advisory Group would soon made public Han’s campaign planks on pre-school care, titled “raising all newborn babies from birth to the age of six.” Han would explain these campaign planks in person.

It was understood that Han would promote “666” campaign planks that would cover all newborn babies from birth to the age of six. According to the campaign planks, a lump sum of NT$20,000 (US$655) for the firstborn in the current childbirth subsidy program would be increased to NT$30,000 (US$983). In order to encourage parents to have a second child, the childbirth subsidy program would grant a lump sum of NT$60,000 (US$1,965) for the second-born and onwards, and a subsidy of NT$60,000 per year would be granted until these newborn babies reached the age of six.

Moreover, currently, the Tsai administration gave grants directly to daycare centers. Han hoped that subsidy options would be decided by the parents.
