The tempest of cyber warriors created by Slow Yang (楊蕙如) has continued to spread. On December 6, Tseng Tsung-kai (曾琮愷), a former CEO of the DPP Nantou County chapter, stated that Yang’s cyber warrior incident dealt a heavy blow to the DPP’s image, although Yang was just under indictment, adding that however, in accordance with the DPP’s Rules Governing Clean Governance, DPP members who seriously undermined the party’s reputation might be expelled from the party.
Tseng urged Yang to withdraw from the DPP on her own initiative, or, in his opinion, the DPP should directly expel Yang from the party so that the Yang tempest would not impact the DPP’s 2020 electoral prospects.
